The stacked Wildcats had little trouble against the rebuilding Halifax Mooseheads, beating them 8-0 in front of 5,616 fans at the Avenir Centre.
The Wildcats won a modest 1-0 lead in the first period.
Moncton added three more goals in the third period to turn it into a rout.
Tristan De Jong, Christian Huntley, Jakob Pelletier, Philippe Daoust, Axel Andersson, Jeremy McKenna, Elliot Desnoyers and Gabriel Fortier had the goals for the Wildcats, who are now on a four-game winning streak.
Dakota Lund-Cornish made 26 saves to earn the shutout for Moncton and Alexis Gravel and Cole McLaren combined to stop 39 shots for Halifax.
